Step Up 3-D review
Posted : 1 year, 4 months ago on 11 September 2010 03:08
(A review of Step Up 3-D)I enjoyed this movie. I very much enjoyed the break dancing moves, they were somewhat more developed than Step Up to the Streets. But there were some cliche events that could have been avoided and replaced with new ideas, which could have showed development and maturity of the movie given that it's the 3rd one. & what bothered me the most was the fact all the great moves were used throughout the movie during practice time, but when it came down to the final battle, all the less impressive moves were used. Yes, the battle was the longest, and yes it was somewhat cliche with the gadgets used, but the dance doesn't make you go 'Oh My.' I recommend this movie for everyone who enjoys breakdancing/dancing movies. 0 comments, Reply to this entry
The Back-up Plan review

(A review of The Back-up Plan)Movie trailers are beyond deceiving. This movie is a great example of why romantic comedies are becoming hideous with their story-lines. A fictional book has more reality into its plot than this movie does. 0 comments, Reply to this entry
Coach review
Posted : 1 year, 6 months ago on 11 July 2010 02:51
(A review of Coach)The movie may have had a boring steady start, but it started getting more engaging mid-through. Some acting could have been improved a little bit, but the kids part was great in my opinion. With all these predictable movies these days, it's almost impossible to enjoy a movie without an expected ending, and the fact this movie did not end the way I thought it would makes it one of the good ones. :) 0 comments, Reply to this entry
The Good Guy review
Posted : 1 year, 7 months ago on 15 June 2010 03:10
(A review of The Good Guy)This movies is definitely one of my favourite romantic movies of all time. I usually tend to know what's going to happen because of the amount of predictable movies out there, and although this one wasn't /that/ different, it was not as predictable as I thought it would be. Yes it portrays both the good and the bad guy, which some might think is cliche, but I really like how the story developed. 0 comments, Reply to this entry
City of Life review
Posted : 1 year, 9 months ago on 3 May 2010 07:04
(A review of City of Life)I was very pleased to see an Emarati directed movie with such success. Although I believe some of the acting could be pushed further to create realistic dialogues, the acting was pretty good considering it was the first appearance for some of the actors. 0 comments, Reply to this entry
Center Stage: Turn It Up review
Posted : 1 year, 9 months ago on 19 April 2010 05:04
(A review of Center Stage: Turn It Up)The dancing was great, but the acting can be pushed way further. The characters are not fully developed, and the acting appears to be performed by a bunch of amateurs. 0 comments, Reply to this entry
